As the South Goes, So Goes the Nation: ProGeorgia Returns to Martha’s Vineyard

📍 Edgartown, MA
📅 Wednesday, August 13, 2025
🕐 Lunchtime Donor Salon (exact time provided upon RSVP)

This August, ProGeorgia is returning to Martha’s Vineyard for a special mid-summer gathering. As national policies increasingly impact state and local communities, Georgia stands at the epicenter of the nation’s fight for democracy, justice, and transformation.

Join us for an intimate donor salon and lunch hosted by Freedom Futures, Movement Voter Project, and Tides, featuring ProGeorgia CEO Tamieka Atkins. In conversation with key movement leaders and donors, Tamieka will share how Georgia continues to shape the political future of the South—and the nation.

From recent victories to bold opportunities on the horizon, this gathering will spotlight how ProGeorgia’s 62-member statewide network is organizing year-round to protect and expand democratic participation, especially for the state’s most vulnerable communities.

Whether you’re a long-time supporter or just learning about our work, this is a moment to connect, reflect, and invest in a shared vision for Georgia’s—and America’s—future.
