WHO IS PROGEORGIA?
ProGeorgia is a bold, trusted, and diverse collaborative that champions an equitable and inclusive democracy, for and with traditionally underrepresented communities.
We envision a more representative democracy here in Georgia, one where communities of color have electoral representation that matches their population in the state, thereby increasing people-centered policies and wins that positively impact these communities.
WHAT DO WE DO?
We support and coordinate the civic engagement programs of our diverse partner organizations. ProGeorgia develops the infrastructure, executes the joint strategies, and employs new tools and technology to assure a government that is more responsive to the needs of our constituencies.
Our partners operate in 136 counties and run programs in all 159 counties across the state
Impact by the Numbers
2020-present:
$19M+ directly regranted to partner organizations to power voter registration, GOTV, legal defense, and advocacy
2023:
Welcomed 29 new partner organizations — nearly doubling our coalition and strengthening statewide reach
2024:
Registered 40,000 new voters
11,000 new U.S. citizen voters registered at naturalization ceremonies statewide
5M+ voter contacts, mobilizing 3.4M BIPOC Georgians (1.84M households) to vote in the general election
OUR GOAL: $18M for Progress
$5M → Direct regrants to partners for voter registration, GOTV, legal defense, and legislative advocacy
$10M → Hire 130+ full-time organizers for year-round community engagement
$3M → Expand capacity for political messaging, civic engagement awareness, and both physical & cyber security to fight mis/disinformation
